First of all, I am not a librarian. I do not hold a degree in Library
Science or in any other science. The town which I work in may be
small,
but the library is not, so I do not see how your assumptions about me
have
anything to do with what I said. I am a low-level employee who WORKS
in a
library, but I am neither dedicated to this field, nor is this my
career.

Please let's stick to the subject, slippery as it may be, that you are
riding high upon a white charger because an artificially created
subculture's idioms and expressions were incorrectly represented in a
work
of fiction, which therefore insulted your sensibilities.

I say:
Oh boy! Sojouner has made a big mistake because right now good old
Jules is probably on the phone with his boss trying to get him fired. So
much for the spirit of the sixties. but what should one expect from a
person who uses the internet to panhandle?

Sojourner is right. Jules always changes the subject when he is
proven wrong. And he always reduces any discussion to an insult. Like I
said previously why would anybody expect a surrealistic novel to be an
accurate report on real life?
