The tape you refer to is most likely the torture of Enrique Camareno 
(sp?), DEA agent killed in Mexico. I think it is grossly inappropriate to 
generalize from this event to the pot merchant population on the 
whole. For the record, I do not, nor have I ever dealt pot or other 
drugs, but I have known a few that have both sold and grown. They are 
far closer to the romanticised image than they are to the Narco 
Trafficante responsible for that particular outrage. As a matter of 
fact, the drug king pin law in this country, mandating execution for murder in the 
course of drug commerce has been applied to only 1 pot peddler. I 
would agree that this is one too many, but it surely does not make 
much of a case for your assertion.
