I've been enjoying the pot growers flamewar, though I think it was entirely
unprovoked. If I read a book or see a movie which deviates from my personal
experience, it reduces the enjoyment for me (one personal favorite, the
astrophysicist air combat instructor in "Top Gun", what the hell, is she
going to tell Tom Cruise how to use his afterburners to make the Sun go nova?).

ObPynchon: The MD group read is catching up with me, maybe I better put down
