Yep, and I had classes in the morning. That's why I booted my buddies
and the wet t-shirt entourage out of the house I was renting.
They liked the Eagles, R.E.O. Speeddealer, and Fleetwood Mac.
And coke.
I was getting into the Clash, Ramones, Elvis (Costello, not the
fat guy).
And that magical combination of cannabis and caffiene.

The Eagles were product. They were (are)
great musicians, but with the help Irving ("I've got more money than
God") Azoff, they took rock stardom to revolting new levels.
I'm sure that they reflected a portion of CA culture at the time,
but I don't think they invented anything.
But you were there and I was not.
I lived in Florida where they dig fucking Jimmy Buffet. Now there's a
sub-culture to be proud of ;]
