70s Saving Graces

Hold on there.  You talking Runaways, mebbe?  Well, I saw JJ live on
Pynch's home turf (LI) back in '82 or so, during her "I Love Rock 'n' Roll"
and "Bad Reputation" period (has she had any other?), and she kicked ass. 
Heard a tape of her on the radio some time afterward and recognized the
live performance *immediately*, it was so intense, so distinctive.  I won't
champion her albums, but she sure gave a great concert.

She's rilly Eighties, though.  Just barely Seventies.  Unless you apply one
of those "the Sixties ended c. 73" rules....
