It doesn't.  However, one of the principle tenets of Christ's teachings
in the New Testament is that man/woman cannot be saved by good works or
behavior, only by repentant faith, which leads to God's mercy, which
(Julie Andrew's voice/everybody now:) 'will bring us back to mu'
