Well, just for everyone's info, the rec.music.white-power thing is 
currently in the status of urban myth.
The actual newsgroup was voted down over a year ago, with a vote of 
something like 400 to 6000. Whether or not we of Pynchon-l want to keep 
arguing over free speech, please don't send the rumor on and keep the 
bandwith-waste going...
