I say:
After an initial bout of eyestrain (so I'm not the only
one with aging eyes) I plowed through, enjoying much and only
occasionaly feeling put upon. Think the guy can still RILY write.
GR's MY favorite also. Can't be objective however. Slothrop and
company weren't far from contemporaries.
M&D is better organized I'm inclined to feel.
Pynch is still Pynch and, despite that awful picture, going
strong.
