My Final word on Jules, for now... ;)

ALl I can say about ANY of the CRAP that's been coming through the list
lately is that when it comes to Jules, you either TAKE HIM OF LEAVE HIM.
That's it.

Face it, a majority of his statements are nor corroborated, hence they may
not necessarily be "officially" credible.  So what.  Most of what comes
across the evening news is not trustworthy... the days of credible
journalism ended a long time ago -- for the most part.  The only reason
anyone seems to be bitching about Jules is because his statements on this
list and in Lineland, and his reports of Chrissie's statements have for
their subject matter the "pet" author of this mailing list.  So be it.  This
is an old argument which began when Jules first entered our little
community, and it's only snowballed into endless flamewars that are way too
personal and defamatory, imho.

I agree with Meg, Doug and Peter should take this offlist if they wish to
continue it.  They made their point.  They spoke their protest.  Heck, they
aren't 100% wrong, imho, as much as Jules is not 100% right, imho -- but
damnit, I came this far from mailing a couple people who took part in this
bloody exchange to say three words, "Get a life."

Jules statements, Chrissie's statements, our statements are in the public
record and accessible by anyone via the Web and the great archive in the sky
-- or wherever it may vitually reside.  If anyone posts slander (or libel)
which Jules/Chrissie is/are basically being accused of, then the injured
party, namely TRP, can rightly sue.  Otherwise, please, PLEASE consider it a
dead topic and move on... PLEASE.

And NO ONE, NO ONE should be silenced.  Jules, Doug, Peter -- you all have a
right to speak your mind and let your opinions be known... but don't beat
the damned horse after you've killed it, okay?
