Whose Uncle?

Doubt that Pynchon's making an allusion, but *Bob's your uncle* is the
 favorite catch phrase of the homicidal maniac in Hitchcock's *FRENZY*.

BTW, is the use of the phrase in M & D one of those anachronisms?
