TRP and parody

     In point of fact, Mr. Di Filippo (last seen in a somewhat animated 
     discussion of cyberpunk and Neal Stephenson with Kathryn Cramer while 
     his wife pleasantly continued her crochet) initially described his 
     piece as a "pastiche," not a parody.

Offering my story as a "parody" perhaps indeeds does it a 
disservice, as it was very affectionately meant.
