Tom and Wanda

Going through a few previous days postings today I read:

According to Djuna35, at least one of the Tinasky letters is signed:

        Yr. ob'd'nt Servant
        Wanda Tinasky

I haven't read the book and don't know if most or all of the letters are
signed similarly.  Shades of M&D, and how many people could have known
that Pynchon was using 18th C structure in a work in progress?  Fuel for
that particular fire it seems.

Well, I also today read the CNN site on their Pynchon report where the
reporter claimed that Tom called up CNN, denied he wrote the Wanda
letters, and was annoyed about the whole affair. Does this settle the
issue or are there still those out there who believe....
