Bonk

'Bonk' is Dutch for 'lump' or 'lumpish fellow (of rude behaviour).
It is quite often used in the combination 'zeebonk' = 'sailor' (zee =
sea)

The word has other meanings, most of them with the connotation 'chunk',
'bundle', 'lump'. (e.g. 'een bonk zenuwen'='a bundle of nerves')

The verb 'bonken' means to 'thump', 'hit upon'

I don't want to offend any policemen on the list, but I think you'll all
agree that this constitutes quit a nice worldplay in Dutch by TP.
