Moderation (fix)

Goldwater himself.  The full quotation is:

	Extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice, and
	moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virtue.

If I recall correctly, he said it in support of his intention to
escalate the war in Vietnam.  It was commonly believed that he'd
nuke Hanoi.

Jules was cleverly paraphrasing both halves of the quotation at once.
But Dennis is correct, as writtne it doesn't seem clear.  I gather
Jules meant "moderation in defense *from* extremism is no virtue",
but that would have been much less euphonious and have weakened the
allusion terribly.  (Nice try though.)
