The lyrics sung by The Women In The Moon sorta fit a
Bernstein song performed by Frank Sinatra and Gene Kelly
in "On the Town" [1949]:

New York, New York,
It's a wonderful town.
The Bronx is up,
And the Battery's down.
The people ride
In a hole in the ground.
New York, New Yoooooooaaaaaaark, -----
It's a wonderful town!

The MGM flick, based on a B'way musical, is about sailors on shore
leave in the Apple, so there are parallels with James's Town...
