The future of the list -- nanny time?

Regarding this list and a moderator, it now seems to me that the group was
just getting hungry and needed something to chew on. As soon as the next
installment of MDMD hit our boxes, things definitely got focused again.

Of course, it didn't hurt for someone we all greatly respect to tell us to
shut up or we'd get no supper 'tall.

BTW: thanks to all the comments on "sfacim" (somewhat inconclusive tho
they were). I think whenever things get a little off point around here
I'll just throw out one of those things I can't figure out for the
web-guides to give y'all a target. Which reminds me:

In V., TRP mentions a "C & O Compartment" aboard ship (can't remember the
page # off hand). Any of you know what *that* is??
