Holy.....?!

If you count Germans or Germanic peoples as the criteria for being one of the
"World Wars", please include the Crusades as well as the founding of the
Teutonic Knights (all Polish and Baltic country list members now speak up
ahem...)
You may also count the Franco-Prussian War(s), or maybe you can include
many of
the German mini-states fighting as a "world" (the world of Germany anyway)
war.

Hmm... the Ottoman surge in the 1600's under Suleyman "Bob's Your Uncle" 
the Magnificent (or was it his son?  too early to drag out the Asimov book) 
 was partly repelled by Germans.

Or, if you want to get REALLY technical, the Franks, who formally made Gaul
turn into France, were descended from "Germanic" peoples.  

oooh oooh don't forget the eville and paganick tribes which sacked Rome, many
of whom came from yonder forested magick.  

Or, if you want to get into WORLD world wars, we can include the Greek-Persian
"Battle Royale", the Alexander "Ain't I though?" the Great two year World
Tour,
the Mali Empire stomping on the Ashanti, the great Inca "rumble in the jungle"
of 450 BC, the Aztec "Don't call me Toltec" blood feasts, the Hittites
ramming through
most of the pre-Assyrian world, the Babylonian conquest of Judea, the
Golden "Corral"
Horde zamboni-fest on east Europe, Hannibal "The Cannibal" and his Famous
Elephant
Brigade, the conquest of Egypt by the Archdule Mamluke the Marlook, Joshua
fit to
burst his lips on the shofar outside Jericho, the Philistines duking it out
with the Atlanteans,
the Viking speed metal tour of northern Europe, William "the Bonk"
Conquerer sitting
pretty on the Thames, and last but not least, Captain "By hook or by" Cook
versus
the Hoagie Hero Submarine Sandwich Islanders...
