Harrison, please believe me: I had not realized the message was just for me,
i.e. that it was a private one.  I feel so shitty now, and rightly so, for
quoting it publicly -- I AM sorry.  

Please, if you ever write to me again, off-list, do mark your message as
such so that I don't make any more bloody gaffes like that one.  It's bad
enough that I am deservedly mortified now, but I really don't want to abuse
your or other people's private communications to me.  

And do stay.  Let this whole thing blow over.  I really hope you will.
