	I've been on this list just shy of a week.  Will you marry me and stop
with Charles?  If you say yes, then I will, while this world is still
feudal, put a line eight yards wide and due west straight through the
heart of any wilderness you name.  Together we will be brave, scientific
beyond my understanding and ultimately meaningless but not in public.
