TRP dissed in suck, today!

The suck piece disappointed me because I usually enjoy their
"smart-assed social commentary." I think the commentator's point was
that P. was too difficult to be entertainment and that most reviewers
that gush over his work have never actually read it. Possible, but not a
very pleasant thought.

As an aside, I am a Pynchon fan of several years and have just
subscribed to the mailing list. I'm pleasantly surprised by the level of
discourse and the amiable atmosphere. Keep the mathematical digressions
coming!
