The only Pynchon novel I've have read is "The Crying of Lot 49", the only reason I picked it up in the first place was the catchy title. I found it to be quite good, but feel daunted in trying "Gravity's Rainbow". As Pynchonites, pray, tell me why I should read both GR and M&D.
