     Nothing special; you haven't missed much. WINS ran it, and probably a 
     few other stations in and out of the NYC area.  Basically, it was 
     something like "sponsored by Henry Holt, publishers of Thomas 
     Pynchon's _Mason et./per se/et ne plus Dixon_."
     
     Hardly aggressive advertising; the geeks at Tor did a more aggressive 
     job with (redundancy alert) mediocre Robert Jordan volumes, which are 
     much longer and much more difficult to read (if you enjoy well-written 
     works).

     On an aside, davemarc mentioned that there were some radio 
     commercials.  I haven't heard them -- any details?
