I was so thrilled to see Crowley finally mentioned that I nearly spilled my
lingam, but so what. It's high time that one of you enlightened mages
hording all those universal secrets finally revealed TRP's obvious reliance
on foreclosed OTO intellectual property. Besides all the Thelemic material
stolen by TRP for the Brigadier Pudding and Lyle Bland episodes in GR, it
has long been obvious that TRP is intimately familiar with the films of
Crowley acolyte Kenneth Anger and that he does not scruple at stealing the
best moments in his novels from them. Though such larceny is not as heinous
as Bobby Beausoleil's theft of the original negative of LUCIFER RISING, it
is unfortunate because it makes Kenneth Anger seem derivative. As you know,
the Tibetan "terma" is featured in certain Kenneth Anger films, the true
significance of which is very secret and available only to 33rd degree
masons and above. I will say, however, that William Kotzwinkle was much
more open about his reliance on Aleister Crowley (though not Kenneth
Anger), so maybe TRP should see ET again or something.
