P-list as Commie plot?

Peculiar--that logjam of P-mail I get most weekdays, especially during North
American business hours (and particularly on Fridays). But weekends are
pretty mellow. Could it be that many of you/us are writing from work? I
appreciate our burning desire to communicate, but any time we spend on the
list from our workplaces amounts to stealing from our caring, deidcated
employers, you know. This lack of work ethic could well be the bane of our
civilization. In fact, I wonder if the whole concept of e-mail lists (and
perhaps the P-list in particular--or the internet in general, hell, the
computer!) is nothing less than the most insidious Commie plot to sap
American productivity since the invention of the snooze alarm. You mock me
now . . . .
