But while covering a music event where semi-famous Pynchon-curmudgeon
David (Mr Cracker) Lowery played this Friday, I tried to collar him to ask 
him no musical questions whatsoever. I did fling the question

"Hey Davey, you bought Mason & Dixon yet? And if so, how far are
you along in it?"
