CNN pictures

I've looked at both jpegs and I have some very clear suspicions but I don't
feel comfortable about identifying him specifically in either of these
pictures and I am not saying that he is in either one. I'm sorry that I
volunteered to do so, but, on reflection, I felt it was wrong. Whether he's
in the picture or not, he was quite clear about not wanting to be identified.

Before I wote my Playboy memoir, I wrote to him and asked him to speak or
forever hold his piece. No answer. I felt perfectly justified then in
writing about him.

Chrissie's drawing is her own version of my article. It's hardly the same as
a photograph taken on the sly. If someone says to me, "Don't take my picture
and don't publish it if you get it surreptitiously," I don't feel that I
have a right to go ahead anyway.

I apologize sincerely for having seemed to lead you on about this, but I'm
sure you can understand that I feel it's better to break a promise than
refuse a friend (even a former friend) his heartfelt desire to remain
invisible a while longer.
