Re CNN pix: Are we so sure that these are the only alternatives?

After watching the CNN report again, and drawing on the snap
of Pynchon from _New York_ magazine (as shown on CNN), what
about the guy in the red jacket, in the distance, stepping
off the curb, back to the camera? CNN didn't say TRP was 
showing his face, did they?

There might also be a suspect or two in the people walking 
crosswise and therefore not visible for long. Frankly, I'm not
taken by either of the candidates on this site (as TRP at 60,
that is--I could see them in many other roles, perhaps even 
a spot in the Cabinet . . .).
