Communication,"  to be just what the doctor ordered.  I've included a rather
lengthy section on internet etiquette that may be of special interest to
you, particularly those pages relevant to asking for paper-writing favors
without berating and potentially offending those of whom you ask.  As you
write that you are gathering research for a paper, I assume you are a
student, facing financial as well as social obstacles that might keep you
from purchasing my book.  Perhaps by ingratiating yourself more fully with
your new listserve companions, you might convince them to take up a
