 Most large University libraries get The Times, in full,
in a paper edition that they keep for some amount of time;
allthough I do not know that the permanantly retained microfishe
(sic?) copies contain colour suppliment matterial. The lag time is
usually one week, if my experience of NYU and Penn is common.

In any case, the whole issue will become mute in a week or so when one
US publication or another re-runs the story. Remember the New York
magasine article? That took about two weeks to be re-printed in the
Guardian.

I am aware that the photos will, no doubt be in the public domain
soon enough, but in light of how this matter was conducted by
Mr Bone, I will not have anything to do with making them publicly
available.

I hope no one will take any personal offence, I certainly mean to
insult no one who has requested that I send them a copy, good
luck obtaining one, if that is what you want.

I only wish that Mr Bone respected Mr Pynchon's desire to lead a
quiet life as much as TRP respects his reader's desire to have a
rich experience of reading fiction.
