There was no conclusion, really, other than to note Weisenburger's
close-but-no-cigar mismatch between the 21 sections in part 1 and the
22 cards in the standard Tarot (he suggests maybe the motto for part 1
should be dealt to von Braun as card 0, the Fool). Also, someone
intrepreted Weissman's spread somewhat more pessimistically than
Pynchon did, although I suspect that with the Tarot, as with most
other esoterica, there are as many interpretations as interpreters.
