Jethro's tent is where Moses ended up after being exiled from Egypt. He crossed
the desert (Sinai, I believe) and ended up living with Jetrho and his daughters
tending sheep. He marries the oldest daughter, is living a nice happy life
until he encounters a talking burning bush which commands him to go back to
Egypt and free the slaves.

Old Testament, Exodus, if you want more of the story. Or there's always that
there "Ten Commandments" movie.

Jean.

I think Jethro's tent is a biblical-derived slang for a brothel or
harem.
