Today is Captain Kangaroo's (Bob Keeshan's) birthday. He's 70! 
(Cyclone turned 70 yesterday. Hmmm...)

 Looking Back on June 27 

1969: The gay rights movement was born when New  York City police, 
attempting to raid the STONEWALL INN in Greenwich Village, clashed 
with patrons of that bar.
1844: Angry over the Mormon practice of polygamy, a mob in Carthage, 
IL, attacked and killed the movement's leaders, Joseph and Hydram 
Smith. BRIGHAM YOUNG then became head of the church. Go Bulls!
