Hey! I know this book.  In fact I've got a copy of it lying around the
house here somewhere.  I had to buy the book for a college course (more
years ago than I, too, care to enumerate).  It was some dippy 1 credit-hour
course I took for no other reason than the course name sounded intriguing:
The Future As History.  If I recall, it was pretty much a waste of 1 credit.
