Misprinted M&D's

A friend of mine just got a copy of M&D with thirty pages of another book
substituted in the middle of the book. He said it plays hell with the
continuity to have Mason & Dixon turning into Caesar and Cleopatra and then
back again. He's curious to know if anyone else has run into this printing
error and if the book has an enhanced value. Any guesses?
