I think M&D has a lot of parallels to GR. The 1st attack (London), the lost
love (Jessica), down a "pipe" to a mystical experience (toilet/ear), and lots
of subtle little touches. I just started "America" section so maybe it won't
last, but it does seem to be there, albeit in a very subtle way...
