I saw LH on Friday.  Does keep one interested but it reminds me of the 
Wes Craven Freddie horror movies--in the fact that there is no reality 
underpinning the terror--placing the horror within the mundane and 
commonplace.  After awhile, you don't much care.  Actually, reminded me 
of a Steve Erickson novel, melding diverse story lines together.If 
Lynch's idea from the start was to film a nightmare, he has succeeded 
wonderfully.  However, the movie doesn't say anything, there is no 
voice-even the eroticism is pretty tame.  Some people will laugh, others 
will love it, most will scratch their heads.  I still think it  a fine 
effort, but the impact will slowly fade.
