You mentioned DeLillo; I picked up two of his novels at a library used
book
recently, but haven't read anything by him yet (Plisters have turned my
attention to him :-) ). The two I found were _Players_ and _Running
Dog_.
Are they worth reading, in yer humble opinions?

Meg--I just finished _Running Dog_ . Sorry to say, I was disappointed.
Reminded me of _White Noise-Interesting idea--search for a pornographic
film from Hitler's bunker. I think DD strengths lay in his style and
strength of his ideas. Unfortunately, he does not have Pynch's plotting
genius. I'm hoping _Underworld_ will prove me wrong considering its
length. I like bits and pieces of _Great Jones Street_ and _Mao II_.
Can't say he's written one whole novel that has kept my attention
straight through.
