The sniping is mainly messages, such as this yours, that endeavor to
have the last word on a subject and put people in their places. I'm
genuinely amused that you don't include yourself in your list. "HenryM
vs. several?" A dubious honor in this tag-team "battle royal," were it
true outside of self-defence. Let he who is not stoned cast the first
sin. 

Or if the only way we can get back to discussing ideas instead of ad
hominum argument and support is to find the origins of our current
malaise, I offer myself.
