Andrew, before we get into the 8 oz. gloves here let me back pedal swiftly and fall into 
rope-a-dope mode, truly, as I wasn't at all trying to pick a fight w/ you.  I'd just been 
skimming the Vidal thread and noticed a definite heatening up in your exchange w/ 
Rodney W.  That was my only reference point there.  The main point of my post, which 
you seem to acknowledge, is that *fiction* is a better word than fantasy.
