John Crowley

[Im such a tiny loser boy monkeyspank]

I was reading a couple of posts about some guy named John Crowley.  I 
had never heard of him.  Luckily I work at a library and looked him 
up right away like I do for any author appearing on this list I know 
nothing of.  I was suprised to learn he is categorized in the fantasy 
genre and I was wondering if he is another one of those sword and 
sorcery, elves vs. dwarves hacks or maybe something a little more 
substantial.  I know that sometimes those who write in a magic 
realist mode get lumped into the fantasy category.  But before this 
post gets too rambling, I was wondering if anyone who is a fan of his 
supply me with advice and/or a quick intro.  Thanks
