I forgot about that one (TIME OUT OF JOINT).. Read it 30 years ago..
And in another PKD, there's the whole schtick for Silva Mind Control.
Which came first?  The PKD story or Silva....? (Silva, by the way,
is the "everyday, in every way, I am getting better and better" guru
who grew up Mexican in Laredo, Texas and later claimed to be Italian.
I looked into this one time and the PKD story predated the emergence
of SMC.

D'ya think that TRP bowed out of the L Ron role (another skiffy guy into
"self-improvement/religion") for some reason or the other?

Now if Phillip Jose Farmer'd start up a cult......
