According to the Italian lyric book (which has lyrics both in Italia ad
English)  it's "for a thousand years.""  Of course, lyric books are
notoriously  inaccurate, but it sure spunds that way to me, as
well....Wait!  Between Thought and Expression, the Lyrics of Lou Reed
also says "For a Thousand Years..."
