so on Sat. I'm at this Book Fair--a small one with maybe 5 used-book
dealers and them with small displays--and what to my wondering eye should
appear but--_The Journal of Charles Mason and Jeremiah Dixon_ for 12
bucks.

You all probably think I'm making this up.

To make it even more strange the same dealer had a coffee table Th. Hart
Benton that I've been looking for.  A-and he wore a funny little smile.

BTW the spine of the dust cover of the Journal is missing the word Dixon.
Is this the case on other copies?
