Here is the message I have just received in answer to my post about book stores in NY.
Sorry, fox, we'll have to wait till end of month at the very least.
Probably a bit more for those of us on the wrong side of the Atlantic
or the other hemisphere.

I read your posting below.  I work for the publisher: Mason and Dixon 
will not go on sale until 4/30/97.  Sorry to disappoint, but your son 
should not be able to find it in any NY bookstores before the 30th.
