Isn't the film set in Wales with the actors naturally speaking or adopting
Welsh accents?  Hence their obsession with Sean Connery.  

I particularly enjoyed the life-encompasing list at the end (also very
Pynchonesque, IMHO) with:  "getting by/looking ahead/the day you die."

(Not that it's important, but I got a little rush at seeing the bull terrier
that's "shot" in the film; he looks just like my Percy.  Actually, I own
three bull terriers!)   ;-)
