Thanks for reminding me of this letter. On considering the peevish 
tone of Toms letter (not that I blame him), he'd fit right in on the 
list.

Hope it's not the crankiness of age setting in. That he's not beginning to keep track of small  insults to answer one by one, which could be a bad omen for M&D. I long for one more outing of that outrageous boyish exuberance striking from an entirely unexpected quarter. Actually it WAS mildly funny so there's probably nothing to worry about.
