GR in other media

I read an interview with David Blair a while ago wherein he did
claim Pynchon(and more specifically Gravity's Rainbow) as a formative
influence on his filmaking style. WAX is must viewing for anyone into
Pynchon- it deals with a subject near and dear to TRP: the way that
technology forms our perception in the 20th century(plus there's a cameo
by Wm. S. Burroughs). The most recent film by Craig Baldwin is Sonic
Outlaws, a documentary about media collage artists Negativland and
Emergency Broadcast Network(the EBN video is also a must see, if only for
George Bush's cover of "We will Rock you" set to the backdrop of the Gulf
War).
