Yeah, I've considered MD (a little 20/20, anyone?), but I've avoided 
it because of Pynchon's particularity: Mason AND Dixon. Nobody ever 
says, "Mason and Dixon." It sure as hell isn't the "Mason and Dixon 
Line," either
