M&D Promotion

A cardboard easel appeared a few days ago at the customer service desk in
the fiction section of my local Borders, promoting the forthcoming _Mason &
Dison_.

The art is font-y, a bit more zoomed-in than the cover-art from Henry
Holt's ad and amazon.com's M&D page.

There are tear off tags that say:

   Reserve your copy of _Mason & Dixon_, the new anti-historical
   counter-epic from

      Thomas Pynchon
         author of Gravity's Rainbow

then there are blanks for Name, Address, City, State, Zip, and Telephone;
and then:

   PLEASE LEAVE THIS FORM AT THE CASH REGISTER.
   Store personnel will call you when the book comes in (April 30)
