V. is unquestionably my favorite.  The novel that made me absolutely
convinced that this man *knew* something about the way the world worked
that I didn't.  I re-read it a couple of months ago, and enjoyed it even
more.

Okay, this post is a bit thought-less, but I'm in the midst of writing the
Pynchon chapter of my dissertation, and I think I'm afraid of losing
momentum...
